Understanding food cravings: Tools for a healthier relationship with food (Part 1)

Do you ever feel a strong, sudden desire to eat? Whether it's late-night snacking, mid-afternoon sugar urges at work, or an irresistible craving for crisps — you're not alone. In this interactive workshop, we will deepen our understanding of food cravings, and explore their various triggers, from physiological ones like blood sugar dips and nutrient imbalances to emotional drivers, stress responses, habits and environmental cues.  You will learn practical strategies to respond with awareness instead of impulse. We will look at:

✨ The impact of nutritional balance, eating habits and other metabolic factors on food cravings.
🍽️ Eating strategies you can use every day to reduce frequency of food cravings.
🥑Satisfying and nourishing snack alternatives to support stable energy and prevent future food cravings.

Scenarios when honouring food cravings is aligned to self-care and wellbeing.

All levels of nutrition knowledge are welcome.

In Part 2 (5th March) we will dive deeper into the emotional, situational, habitual roots of cravings. What are our cravings really trying to tell us? We will cover mind body tools to ‘surf the wave’ and meet your true need.
